Umios Corporation (TSE: 1333) — the major marine-products and food group formerly known as Maruha Nichiro — reported FY3/2026 results (year ended March 31, 2026) under Japanese GAAP. Consolidated revenue rose 2.5% year-on-year to ¥1,105.9 billion, operating profit edged up 2.7% to ¥31.2 billion, but ordinary profit fell 3.1% to ¥31.3 billion and net profit attributable to owners declined 4.7% to ¥22.2 billion. EPS was ¥146.75 (adjusted for a 3-for-1 split effective January 1, 2026), down from ¥153.97.
Seafood and food businesses hold revenue above ¥1 trillion
The group, one of Japan's three largest fisheries companies, kept revenue above the ¥1 trillion mark on steady demand across its seafood sourcing, processing and food-products operations. Comprehensive income rose 13.0% to ¥42.4 billion, helped by valuation and currency effects. ROE was 9.3% and the operating margin 2.8%.

Total assets stood at ¥751.7 billion and net assets at ¥291.5 billion, for an equity ratio of 32.9%. Book value per share was ¥1,635.34. Operating cash flow was ¥24.8 billion, down from ¥39.2 billion a year earlier.
Dividend raised even as FY2027 guidance softens
Umios raised its FY3/2026 year-end dividend to ¥28.00 (from a planned ¥24.00) and guides a FY3/2027 annual dividend of ¥45.00 (¥22.00 interim plus ¥23.00 year-end) on a split-adjusted basis — an increase. For FY3/2027, however, the group guides revenue roughly flat at ¥1,110.0 billion (+0.4%), operating profit of ¥32.0 billion (+2.6%) but net profit down 32.4% to ¥15.0 billion (EPS ¥99.22), reflecting expected cost and market pressures.
