Persol FY2026 Profit Up 19% to ¥42.7bn as Revenue Tops ¥1.5 Trillion; Lifts Dividend

Persol Holdings Co., Ltd. (TSE: 2181) — operator of the "Tempstaff" temporary-staffing business, the "doda" job-change platform and a range of BPO and HR-technology services — reported full-year results on May 14, 2026 for the fiscal year ended March 2026, under IFRS. Revenue rose 7.2% to ¥1,555,833 million (¥1.56 trillion), operating profit gained 15.8% to ¥66,512 million, pre-tax profit rose 13.6% to ¥64,935 million, and profit attributable to owners climbed 19.0% to ¥42,688 million, lifting EPS to ¥19.42 and return on equity to 20.9%.

Adjusted earnings and BPO strength

On the company's preferred adjusted basis, adjusted EBITDA rose to ¥88,176 million and adjusted profit to ¥48,304 million (adjusted EPS ¥21.71), reflecting strength in staffing demand, BPO/outsourcing and overseas operations. During the year Persol consolidated 11 companies, including the French AI-driven staffing platform Gojob SAS.

Higher dividend and continued growth guidance

Total assets stood at ¥620,535 million with equity attributable to owners of ¥219,499 million (a 35.4% equity ratio). Reflecting the result, Persol raised its annual dividend to ¥11.50 per share (¥5.50 interim + ¥6.00 year-end) from ¥9.50, a payout of 59.2%, and plans a further increase to ¥13.00 for FY2027.

For the year ending March 2027 the company guided revenue of ¥1,665,000 million (+7.0%), operating profit of ¥71,000 million (+6.7%) and profit attributable of ¥44,500 million (+4.2%), with adjusted EBITDA of ¥97,000 million (+10.0%) — extending its multi-year growth trajectory.
