Digital Grid Corporation (TSE: 350A) — operator of the "Digital Grid Platform," an online marketplace that matches electricity generators with corporate buyers and aggregates renewable power — reported cumulative nine-month results on June 11, 2026 for the period to April 2026 (its fiscal year ends July). Revenue rose 6.6% year-on-year to ¥5,107 million, operating profit gained 3.1% to ¥2,447 million, ordinary profit advanced 12.2% to ¥2,551 million, and net profit attributable to owners jumped 17.9% to ¥1,871 million, lifting EPS to ¥47.22.

Platform model sustains an unusually high operating margin

The roughly 47.9% operating margin (¥2,447M operating profit on ¥5,107M revenue) reflects the asset-light, software-like economics of an electricity-trading platform, where Digital Grid earns fees intermediating power flows rather than owning generation. Ordinary profit grew faster than operating profit (+12.2%), helped by non-operating income. The company, which listed on the TSE Growth market in April 2025, carried out two stock splits (10-for-1 in February 2025 and 6-for-1 in November 2025); per-share figures are restated accordingly.

Full-year guidance raised

Digital Grid revised up its full-year FY2026 (ending July 2026) forecast the same day, now guiding revenue of ¥6,595 million (+7.2%), operating profit of ¥2,836 million (+3.4%), ordinary profit of ¥2,660 million (+1.8%) and net profit of ¥1,919 million (+2.6%), equivalent to EPS of ¥48.00.

Total assets stood at ¥21,482 million and net assets at ¥10,314 million for an equity ratio of 48.0%. As Japan's power market liberalises and corporate buyers seek renewable and flexible electricity sourcing, Digital Grid's marketplace continues to scale its transaction volumes.
