Mobile Factory, Inc. (TSE: 3912), developer of the location-based smartphone game "Ekimemo (Station Memories)" and a range of blockchain services, reported consolidated results for the first half of the year ending December 31, 2026 under Japanese GAAP. Revenue rose 1.8% to ¥1,686 million, operating profit and EBITDA each rose 2.5% to ¥561 million, ordinary profit rose 2.6% to ¥562 million, and interim net profit attributable to owners of the parent edged up 0.4% to ¥387 million. Basic earnings per share were ¥58.48, up from ¥52.80.
Steady core, EPS lifted by buyback
Top-line and operating growth were modest, but earnings per share advanced faster than net profit because the company reduced its share count by roughly one million shares, to about 7.93 million. The firm reports EBITDA — operating profit plus depreciation, goodwill amortization and share-based compensation — as a key indicator alongside operating profit.
Light, well-capitalized balance sheet
Total assets were ¥3,269 million and net assets ¥2,499 million, an equity ratio of 76.4%. Comprehensive income was ¥386 million, little changed from a year earlier.
Full-year guidance reaffirmed
Management kept full-year FY12/2026 guidance for revenue of ¥3,500 million (+2.1%), operating profit of ¥1,170 million (+4.3%), ordinary profit of ¥1,180 million (+3.0%) and net profit of ¥819 million (+67.7%), with EPS of ¥126.56. The large projected jump in net profit reflects a lower prior-year base. With half the year done, operating profit is tracking at about 48% of the full-year target.
Higher dividend planned
The company plans an annual dividend of ¥51.00 for FY12/2026 (¥25.00 interim, ¥26.00 year-end), up from ¥44.00 a year earlier.
