Techno Horizon Co., Ltd. (TSE: 6629), a maker of imaging and IT products, robotics and visual-presentation equipment, reported consolidated results for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027 — the three months ended June 30, 2026 — under Japanese GAAP. Revenue rose 27.4% to ¥13,334 million from ¥10,469 million a year earlier, operating profit climbed to ¥501 million from ¥21 million, ordinary profit reached ¥613 million against a ¥46 million loss, and net profit attributable to owners of the parent came in at ¥444 million, reversing a ¥138 million loss.
A profit turnaround
The quarter marks a clear turnaround for the group, which slipped into the red at both the ordinary and net levels a year earlier. Sharply higher overseas sales and a shift toward higher-margin products lifted profitability across the board, restoring positive results at every line of the income statement.
Overseas cybersecurity and office solutions lead
The Imaging & IT segment drove the advance, with revenue up 36.4% to ¥10,645 million and segment profit surging 198.9% to ¥530 million. Growth was led by the group's overseas subsidiaries: Pacific Tech Pte. Ltd., a cybersecurity value-added distributor in Singapore and Malaysia, and ESCO Pte. Ltd., an ASEAN office-solutions provider whose Hostile-Mitigation (HM) business is benefiting from the global data-center construction boom. The India subsidiary Collaboration and Communication Technologies Private Limited, wholly acquired in December 2025, also contributed, while ESCO plans to acquire Indonesia's PT Effori Prospero Solusi.
Robotics narrows its loss
The Robotics segment held roughly flat, with revenue edging up 0.8% to ¥2,689 million, but its segment loss narrowed sharply to ¥27 million from ¥157 million a year earlier. Higher output of optical units and custom motor-driver orders tied to AI-related investment, together with a shift toward more profitable products, improved the margin. The company flags "physical AI" as a growth focus for the business.
Balance sheet
Total assets stood at ¥39,899 million and net assets at ¥12,436 million, for an equity ratio of 31.2%.
