The company said total-maintenance customers with many outlets pressed ahead with equipment renewals, while a large equipment-renewal project in its maintenance service moved into its second phase. Its pitch is energy-saving upgrades, which it says remain in demand as higher oil prices push customers to cut facility running costs.

Maintenance does the work

The maintenance segment, which services air-conditioning, kitchen, electrical and plumbing equipment, grew sales 16.3% to ¥6,147 million and segment profit 132.2% to ¥302 million. The construction-related products and services segment, which makes, sells and installs metal doors, shutters and sashes for buildings, saw sales fall 9.6% to ¥614 million but lifted segment profit 49.1% to ¥97 million.

Share exchange and delisting

Total assets rose 3.2% to ¥10,478 million from May 31, mainly on higher cash and receivables, and net assets rose 0.8% to ¥5,674 million; the equity ratio eased to 54.2% from 55.5%. The company said it plans a share exchange with Shin Maintenance Holdings Co., Ltd. and expects its shares to be delisted on November 27, 2026, and for that reason it is not publishing a full-year FY5/2027 forecast. Its dividend forecast for the year is likewise left blank, after a ¥30 year-end payout for FY5/2026.
